1963 Corvette Steel Wheels: Not Universal, Specific
Often, when folks hear that a product is “universal,” they think of it as a good thing. Since it’s “universal,” and presumably can be used in many ways in multiple applications, it must be good. That’s not the case when it comes to Corvette steel wheels. For example, our 1963 steel wheels aren’t a universal-type wheel, with shared components from other wheels. Instead, it was reproduced (using all new tooling) to exactly match the wheels of the day. As opposed to universality, these wheels were designed with specificity in mind. Indeed, they have the “nubs” at the valve stem hole, just as you might remember from the originals.
In Sets or “A La Carte”
