When you buy Corvette wheels, you want Corvette wheels. That means that you want something that was specifically made for a Corvette and nothing else. Too many other kinds of wheels, if you look, are actually made with shared components from other wheels. If you wanted other kinds of wheels, you would’ve bought something other than a Corvette. Here at CS of MD West, we have the kind of 1965 Corvette steel wheels that were specifically made for Corvettes and Corvettes alone.
Reproduction 1965-1966 Corvette Steel Wheels
When we made these reproduction steel wheels, we did everything in our power to ensure that these were exactly like the wheels that originally went on Corvettes in 1965. That means we created all new tooling just so we could recreate even the most exacting detail. No detail was considered too minor or unimportant to be included. For example, the “nubs” at the valve stem hole were put in, just as you would find in the originals. This is as close as you can get to having wheels mailed to your door from 1965 itself.
The Number of Wheels You Want, Always in Stock
If you’ve been reading these blogs for any length of time, you might notice that we use the phrase “as of this writing” quite a bit. We’re never sure when you’re reading these blogs, so when we’re talking about a product, we want our readers to know that it was in stock when we wrote about it. These steel wheels, however, are always in stock. You can always get them from CS of MD West. On top of that, we make sure that you can get the number of wheels that’s right for you. This way, we have affordably priced sets of five new reproduction wheels. That means you’ll get a whole new set as well as a spare, all at a low price. Single wheels are available too.
The Right Add-Ons for Your Wheels
In 1965, as you probably know, Corvettes came standard with incredible hubcaps. They were the ones with the plastic crossed flag emblem right in the middle. Unfortunately, mounting them on the rim without denting was practically impossible. Just like with our steel wheels, we’ve got completely new tooling that reproduces the hubcaps. Yes, there are knock offs available on the market, but they will look and feel like knock offs. Our hub caps, on the other hand, are officially licensed GM restoration parts.
The Parts for Your Corvette
As you may remember, spinners don’t always mount properly without retaining rings on 1965 Corvettes. That’s why we offer sets of new, reproduction wheel cover spinner retaining rings solely for 1965 Corvettes. The above are just some of the parts that we offer for Corvettes of so many kinds, and not just ones from 1965. If there’s something Corvette-related in particular that you’re looking for, we can probably help you out. You can give us a call at (800) 638-6450.
