In practically anything in life, details are important. It’s the small details, the things that might seem minor, that require concentration and focus that separate great work from something that merely gets by. This is true with Corvettes, too. If you have a classic Corvette of really any kind, then you can find the parts that will probably allow it to go out on the road once every few months or so. However, at our site, we have the kinds of C1, C3 and C2 Corvette parts that separate those Corvettes from the others. For Corvettes that compete, that still own the road, day after day, that are resold for the big bucks, we have the kind of parts that can make it happen.
Improved C2 Corvette Parts
Many of our Corvette parts are reproduction parts. These parts are made from today’s cutting edge technologies. So, they have the unique ability to improve something about the classic Corvettes we love. Corvettes are magnificent vehicles, but they were very rarely perfect. For example, as of this writing, we have a transistor ignition electronic module for Corvettes made between 1964 and 1971. So, this product allows you, even at low crank RPMs, to have full stark. You won’t have to worry about making up for that “weak magnet” anymore. All in all, it makes for a smoother ride no matter what RPM range you’re in. It cuts back on misfires, too – it’s like putting a bit of the future into your classic Corvette.
NOS
“When only the best will do” – that’s the saying attached to NOS parts. That means that these “new old stock” parts were never sold elsewhere for retail. Sure, they may have been sitting in a warehouse or on a shelf for years and years, but that also means that they don’t have decades of wear and tear on them, either. As of this writing, we have several different kinds of NOS parts available. For C2 Corvettes, in particular, we have a pair of convertible or hardtop front latches. We know that sometimes people just tell you “we have NOS parts” and then don’t put their money where their mouth is. As we try to be as transparent as possible, we have GM parts 3825177 and 3825178, respectively. Of course, they can be found in the original GM boxes.
Right Parts the Right Way
Many of our reproduction parts are made for the parts that can be improved upon. Otherwise, you’re probably better off with NOS parts. A great example of this is the 1965-1968 big block lower pulley that we have available right now. Straight from GM, these pulleys could stand the test of time.
