Reproduction 1965 Corvette Steel Wheels
These wheels are reproduction parts. That means that they were made using modern technology and materials, but they were made from the blueprints and designs of the past. So, in a way, you’re getting the best of both worlds: today’s tech and steel, yesterday’s Corvette design. Of course, like our other Corvette reproduction products, these are made to the highest standard: our own. Some of us use these wheels in our own Corvettes.
New Wheels, Old Design
These wheels look and feel exactly like the old ones did. That’s due in large part to how they were reproduced using all new tooling. The tooling was made with exacting detail so that for all intents and purposes, they are the classic wheels. Everything about these is dead-on, down to the smallest detail. One detail that particularly stands out is the “nubs” at the valve stem hole. We even included those. If you were to see these next to the originals, you’d be hard pressed to tell which is which.
Against Universalism
There are many kinds of reproduction parts which are made to be “universal.” That means that they’ll work for many different kinds of cars, fitting several designs. That’s not how these steel wheels work. We didn’t make them to be universal, we made them for Corvettes. That means that they only work with 1965 and 1966 Corvettes. After all, that’s what they were designed for. Many of these “universal wheels” have components from other wheels, mishmashed together. That’s not how we work.
Wheel Packages to Fit your Budget
It’s always our goal to offer our customers as much as possible. That’s why we offer these steel wheels in different packages. If you just need a steel wheel, we’re not going to make you pay for a set of four or five just to get that. You can buy a steel wheel from us a la carte. However, we do have packages of four and five steel wheels available, too. That way, you can get all of the steel wheels you need without feeling like your bank account was run over.
