C1 Corvette Parts and More

C1 Corvette Parts and More

The first generation of Corvettes introduced the world to the Corvette. These “solid-axle” vehicles were introduced in 1953 and produced all the way through 1962. Many Corvettes would come after, but these were the first. As these cars came out more than sixty years ago, it’s not always easy to find parts for them. In this blog, we’ll go over the C1 Corvette parts for sale that we offer. It’s important to note that we have C2 Corvette parts for sale as well.

Our C1 Corvette Parts

Just as these Corvettes were around for a long time, so too were these parts. So, if you have the original parts, they’ve probably got some wear and tear in and on them. For example, we sell many speedometer and other instrument lenses and chrome bezels. Many of our customers come to us and say that their speedometer lens is cracked and tired or even scratched. They also say that the chrome is old and pitted. We can offer exact replacements for those speedometers. They can be NOS parts, or they can be quality reproductions. We can restore speedometers, too. The last thing you want as a Corvette enthusiast is a speedometer with paint flecks in the gauges. We take care of that as well as any of the other problems associated with these speedometers.

NOS C3 Corvette Parts for Sale

NOS parts are almost like a time capsule: these are parts that were originally made for the vehicles that have never been opened or used. Recently, we’ve begun listing our NOS parts on our website.  In the time to come, you’ll see more and more available at our site. So, you’ll want to check back often as we begin to offer these parts to our customers. For the truly discerning Corvette lover, for whom only the best will do, we offer our 1969 Corvette NOS Side Exhaust Rear Brackets. These C3 Corvette parts for sale are perfect for any 1969 side exhaust equipped cars. The regular person who sees a Corvette might not notice these, but the person who loves Corvettes will.

Odometer C2 Corvette Parts for Sale

We offer 1963-1967 Corvette Odometer parts that are GM restoration parts. They weren’t made by GM specifically, but they were produced by a major supplier to GM. Of course, they’ll work exactly as the original parts would: they install without any modification whatsoever. They even have the correct font and numbers, too. So, anyone who sees these odometers in your Corvette would believe they were the original parts. Now, if you have one of these Corvettes, then you’re probably aware that the odometers tend to fail somewhere between 40,000 to 60,000 miles. Should that happen to your odometer, it’s probably caused by the magnet and gears. We can fix that.

Hard to Find Parts

We’ve been in the Corvette business for over four decades. In that time, we’ve seen pretty much everything that can happen or can be done to a Corvette. We’ve also had the opportunity to build quite a catalog of Corvette parts. Our laser like focus on Corvettes has enabled us to build a deep, vast collection of parts that you may not be able to find in other places. For example, as of this writing, we have a NOS 1963-1964 F.I. Air Cleaner Adapter for sale. This is the real thing: it’s not an imitation; it’s not a restoration or anything like this. It’s the actual, unopened part. So, you won’t have to worry about any rust with this part, shelf wear, or anything like that. It’s ready to be put in your car today. That’s the standard by which we judge all of our NOS parts.

The standard that we judge all of our parts by is: “would we put this in our Corvette?” Here at Corvette Specialties of MD West, we have owned and restored different Corvettes from each era. We know what makes each Corvette unique and special. By that same token, we know what kinds of parts, care and consideration it takes to make each Corvette as great as it can be. Through an acute attention to detail and an ethos of “never settling,” we’re able to offer Corvette owners their Corvette experience.

When you have a classic Corvette, it’s more than just a vehicle – it’s a hobby, a passion, a project, the kind of thing that just makes you happy to be around it. It’s one of our stated goals to see as many Corvettes on the road as possible. So, to make that happen, we’re always looking for better deals to offer our customers. That’s why we’re offering free shipping to the lower 48 states. That way, you can get the Corvette parts you need for less.
